The thesis
Documents are the system of record. Nothing acts on them.
Every business runs on documents, yet document work is still slow and manual. Teams lose up to half their time to it, there is no accountability layer for approvals, and deadlines slip because tasks stay buried in folders.
Existing tools ask companies to migrate into a new platform. Compass does the opposite — it plugs into the DMS a company already trusts, reads and writes documents, and turns deadlines into owned, deadlined tasks. That removes the single biggest barrier to adoption: change.
