02 Land

Lease or buy the land.

RenewAI connects developers with landowners and land-holding companies, matches available parcels to project requirements, and supports both sides from first contact to signed agreement.

For developers

  1. 01Find available parcelsFilter listed parcels by your project's suitability criteria.
  2. 02Review production and termsSee the production estimate and indicative terms for each listed parcel.
  3. 03Request contactRenewAI introduces you to the owner.
  4. 04Agreement supportSupport through negotiation, due diligence, and agreement.

For landowners

  1. 01List your landList a parcel for lease or sale.
  2. 02Site assessmentGet an assessment of its solar and wind potential.
  3. 03Developer matchingGet matched with qualified renewable energy developers.
  4. 04Agreement supportSupport through negotiation and agreement.

How a transaction works

  1. 01Assessment

The parcel is scored for solar and wind potential, constraints, and grid access.

  2. 02Match

Listed parcels are matched to developers whose project criteria they meet.

  3. 03Introduction

With both parties' consent, RenewAI introduces the developer and the landowner.

  4. 04Negotiation

The parties agree on terms. RenewAI supports both sides with site data and coordination.

  5. 05Agreement

The parties sign a lease or purchase agreement, prepared with their own legal advisers.

03 Method

What the model analyzes.

  1. 01

    Solar irradiance

Global and direct irradiance from satellite records, in kWh/m²/day, with monthly profiles.

  2. 02

    Wind speed and consistency

Mean speed at hub height in m/s, with directional and seasonal variability.

  3. 03

    Climate patterns

Temperature, cloud cover, icing, and frequency of extreme weather.

  4. 04

    Terrain and slope

Elevation, slope in %, and aspect from digital elevation models.

  5. 05

    Land use and parcel data

Parcel boundaries, land cover, and zoning classification.

  6. 06

    Environmental constraints

Protected areas, wetlands, habitats, and required setbacks.

  7. 07

    Grid proximity

Distance in km to substations and transmission lines.

Output

A ranked list of sites. Each site has a suitability score from 0 to 100, an annual energy estimate in GWh, a capacity factor, and a 25-year production forecast. Scores are computed per project type, so the same parcel can rank differently for solar, wind, and hybrid projects.
